About this endpoint
GET /v1/snapchat/profiles/{handle} is the dedicated profile lookup. Pass the username from snapchat.com/@{handle} (with or without a leading @), send x-api-key, and read data.lookupStatus before you write a row. On found, data.profile has display name, bio, avatar and banner, website, category, and created and updated dates, and data.metrics.followers has the follower count.
The same response lists recent Spotlight videos in data.spotlights with views, shares, and comment counts, plus spotlightHighlights, curatedHighlights, the current story, and relatedAccounts. Take a URL from spotlights[].url and pass it to the Spotlight or Spotlight comments route. Credit pricing for this operation appears on this page; meta.creditsCharged is the billing source of truth.

How do I fetch a Snapchat profile by handle?
Call GET /v1/snapchat/profiles/{handle} with your Social Fetch API key in the x-api-key header. The path accepts the public username from snapchat.com/@{handle}, with or without a leading @. See the API docs for parameters and examples.
How many credits does a Snapchat profile lookup cost?

What does lookupStatus mean?
found means the profile is populated. not_found means the handle did not resolve to a public profile. Always branch on lookupStatus before treating the payload as a found profile. HTTP 200 only means the request finished.
Do I need a Snapchat developer app or OAuth?
No. Social Fetch authenticates with your Social Fetch API key only. These routes read public pages, so there is no Snapchat login or creator authorization step.
Which handles are valid?
Letters, numbers, dots, hyphens, and underscores, with or without a leading @. A handle with a space or a slash returns 400 before any lookup runs.
How do I get Spotlight videos for a profile?
Read data.spotlights from this response. Each row has the Spotlight url, caption, thumbnail, duration, and engagement metrics. Pass the url to GET /v1/snapchat/spotlights for full details or GET /v1/snapchat/spotlights/comments for comments.
