How to scrape TikTok Shop products with Node.js (2026)

A Node.js walkthrough for GET /v1/tiktok/products. Copy the snippet, run it, then read the JSON.

GET /v1/tiktok/products · 1 credit

Also available in

You'll pull a public TikTok Shop product and see the fields you get back.

Typical job: watching a set of products. You have public /shop/pdp/… links from ads, search or a creator's shop, and you store each product's title, price, sales and rating from data.product. The optional region picks which country's shop to read. For reviews, a whole store, keyword search or a creator's showcase, use the other TikTok Shop routes.

Get ready

Create a Social Fetch API key and get Node.js ready. New accounts include 100 free credits.

The API Keys page in the Social Fetch app. The New API key form is labelled: type a name, then click Create key.
Open API Keys, name the key and click Create key. The full key is shown only once, so copy it straight away.
  • API key. Create a Social Fetch account, open API Keys and create a key. New accounts include 100 free credits.

  • Node.js setup. Node 18 or later, which has fetch built in. Save the sample as an .mjs file so top-level await works, and set SOCIALFETCH_API_KEY to your key.

When you're done, SOCIALFETCH_API_KEY is set in your shell.

Make the request

Copy the Node.js sample and run it. It calls GET /v1/tiktok/products with your key in the x-api-key header, using this example: /v1/tiktok/products?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.tiktok.com%2Fshop%2Fpdp%2Fgoli-ashwagandha-gummies-with-vitamin-d-ksm-66-vegan-non-gmo%2F1729587769570529799&region=US.

Node.js

It prints the JSON response. An error status throws with the error body instead, because the sample checks response.ok first.

Read the response

The response is JSON with two parts: data holds the Shop products and meta holds creditsCharged and requestId. The sample below is a trimmed copy of a real response; the endpoint page lists every field. Credits are charged on completed lookups, not on failed requests.

The Social Fetch Playground running GET /v1/tiktok/products for a public Goli product page in the US region. The url and region fields, the product_base block of the response and the 1 credit charge are labelled.
The same request in the Playground. The product's title, price and units sold are in data.product.product_base.

Check data.lookupStatus first when the response has one. Keep meta.requestId in case a row looks wrong.

pass the public product page URL, not just the product id. A product that isn't sold in the chosen region can fail rather than come back empty. This route reads one product by URL; to find products by keyword, use GET /v1/tiktok/shop/products/search.

You finished

The Playground, the docs and your code all call the same endpoint at the same price. Pick a next step below.

Common questions

Do I need an official TikTok developer account?

No. Social Fetch authenticates with your Social Fetch API key. You call GET /v1/tiktok/products and we handle the lookup. You still need to follow each platform's terms for how you use public data.

What does the TikTok Shop products endpoint return?

JSON with two parts: data holds the Shop products and meta holds creditsCharged and requestId. The endpoint page and the API docs describe every field.

TikTok Shop product detail vs store catalogue vs search?

Use GET /v1/tiktok/products for one product page URL. Use GET /v1/tiktok/shop/products when you have a store URL. Use GET /v1/tiktok/shop/products/search to search the Shop by keyword. Reviews are GET /v1/tiktok/products/reviews, and a creator's showcase is GET /v1/tiktok/profiles/{handle}/showcase-products.

Do I need a TikTok Shop seller account for this tutorial?

No. You only need your Social Fetch API key, sent as x-api-key. The route reads public Shop product pages. It doesn't act for a seller account.

How much does a successful request cost?

1 credit. Failed requests are free.

Is this okay for production?

Yes. It's the same API the Playground and the docs use: typed errors, a requestId on every response, and credits charged only on completed lookups. New accounts get 100 free credits.

Any Node.js-specific tips for this request?

Yes. Native fetch doesn't throw on 4xx or 5xx responses, so check response.ok (or status) before parsing JSON. Keep meta.requestId from the body in case you need support with a row.
