Add Social Fetch to ChatGPT

Turn on Developer mode, create a plugin from the MCP URL, and sign in. Nothing to download.

Needs Developer mode (usually Plus or Pro) · about three minutes

   Copy your link

   This is the only thing you need to paste. No API key, no config file.

   Paste it into ChatGPT

   In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode. Then go to Plugins (chatgpt.com/plugins), click +, name it Social Fetch, paste the link as the MCP server URL, and create.

   Sign in when it asks

   Approve Social Fetch in the browser tab that opens. No account yet? You'll create one there — it's free and comes with 100 lookups.

Developer mode can be off or blocked by a workspace admin. In each new chat, open the + menu and turn Social Fetch on under Developer mode.
