Connect Grok to Social Fetch

Steps

  1. Go to grok.com/connectors.
  2. Click New Connector, then Custom.
  3. Paste the server URL and complete Social Fetch OAuth when prompted.
  4. Ask for a public TikTok, Instagram, or X lookup in a new chat.

Troubleshooting

  • Connector missing: Open grok.com/connectors again and confirm the custom connector shows as connected.
  • Auth loop: Remove the connector, re-add the URL, approve again.
  • Invented numbers: Ask Grok to use Social Fetch tools explicitly if it answers without a lookup.
  • Business / Enterprise: An admin may need to provision the connector in the cloud console first.
