# TikTok Search Suggestions API

Typeahead suggestions for a TikTok search box — suggested query text plus rank, language, and score when available.

`GET /v1/tiktok/search/suggestions` takes a required `query` string and an optional `region` (two-letter ISO 3166-1 country code) and returns autocomplete rows under `data.suggestions`. The response also echoes `data.query` and `data.totalSuggestions`. This route has no `lookupStatus`. An empty `data.suggestions` array with `data.totalSuggestions` of 0 is a valid success when there are no matches. Bill from `meta.creditsCharged`.

This route is typeahead only. Video keyword search is `GET /v1/tiktok/search`. Hashtag search is `GET /v1/tiktok/search/hashtags`. Account discovery is `GET /v1/tiktok/users/search`.
