# LinkedIn People Search API

Search public LinkedIn people by first and/or last name and get structured JSON rows — name, profile URL, location, experience, education — ready for enrichment follow-ups.

`GET /v2/linkedin/people/search` takes `keyword`. Branch on `data.lookupStatus`: `found` when at least one person came back, `not_found` when the completed page is empty. Continue with `data.page.nextCursor` when more results are available.

This route is discovery, not a full profile dump. Once you have a handle or `entityId`, call `GET /v2/linkedin/profiles` for enrichment. Pricing is a flat 3 credits per completed page, including an empty result; technical failures cost zero. Trust `meta.creditsCharged`. Live data can be served within a documented freshness window, including cache hits.
