# Fandom Article Comments API

The comment threads under a Fandom article, each with every reply, as plain text.

`GET /v1/fandom/wikis/{wiki}/article-comments?title=…` returns the article's top-level comments, newest first, 20 per page, each with every reply in `replies`, oldest first. Every post has its author, `createdAt`, plain `text`, `images`, `links`, `mentions`, `upvotes` and a link back to the comment.

`totalComments` gives the top-level count. Step through pages with `page`. On wikis that switch comments off, `commentsEnabled` is `false` and the list is empty. For every new comment across a whole wiki, use the activity route with `type=article_comment`.

## FAQ

### How do I name the wiki?

Use the subdomain: fortnite for fortnite.fandom.com, blox-fruits for blox-fruits.fandom.com. A full wiki URL also works. Add lang=de (or another code) for a language edition.

### How many credits does it cost?

Pricing is documented on the operation in the API registry (shown on this page). Confirm on every response with meta.creditsCharged — that field is the billing source of truth. Each paginated page is a separate billed request.

### Are replies included?

Yes. Each comment carries all of its replies inline, oldest first, so one request per page covers the full threads.

### How do I get new comments from the whole wiki?

Use GET /v1/fandom/wikis/{wiki}/activity?type=article_comment with since. Each post includes the article it belongs to.
