# How much does the Reddit API cost?

All seven Reddit routes are flat 1 credit per successful request, per the API registry. Paginated routes (subreddit posts, subreddit search, site-wide search, comments) bill each page you fetch separately. Confirm every call against meta.creditsCharged; new accounts start with 100 free credits.
